SVT is currently seeking a talented, career minded individual to join our team as a Solutions Architect. The selected individual will be responsible for providing the design and estimating of customer projects for a diverse set of technology solutions.

Qualified candidates should possess at least 5 years of experience designing Audio/Visual, Networking and related technology systems. Strong communication and people skills are also crucial to this position. Job responsibilities for this full-time position will include:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Sales and Project Management team with system design, drawing, presentations and estimating
  • Travel to client sites to provide engineering services of systems installations including video, audio, video conferencing, boardroom, broadcast, access control and video surveillance
  • Maintain knowledge base of current manufacturers and components relevant to the systems provided and serviced by SVT
  • Provide oversight and needed assistance for activities
  • Wiring equipment racks and components
  • Terminate, test and configure end-user equipment and devices
  • Provide end-user training
  • Create and follow documentation procedures and policies
  • Interface with SVT Project Management throughout the installation process to ensure customer satisfaction and proper system operation


  • Five (5) years of design experience in systems integration or a related technology solutions field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A good knowledge of audio, video, and networking technologies
  • The ability to act as an exceptional customer advocate and liaison
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and maintain industry and manufacturer certifications; InfoComm CTS-D a plus
