The PMO Manager will be responsible to build and support an operational team that focuses on premium customer experience while meeting operational and financial objectives. This position will also assist the Executive Vice President with the development and implementation of processes and policies intended to improve efficiencies of the operations team.
The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in project management with at least five years supervisory experience in the systems contracting industry or similar field. They should possess knowledge of contractor issues, labor relations, project management issues, job costing and be skilled in supervising and managing people. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with people are essential. Good leadership skills are necessary. Must be responsible, initiative-taking, self-starter, personable and well-organized. Superior customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers. Requires someone with a high attention to detail and extreme sense of urgency. Proficiency in the use of personal computers including such programs as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
