To be successful as an Inside Sales Coordinator, you should have solid relationship- building skills and a passion for helping customers achieve their goals. This role is part of the sales group, dealing primarily with sourcing and closing new sales opportunities. You must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross functional teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Route qualified opportunities to appropriate personnel for further development and
  • Order entry including order processing and project setup
  • General customer service including order status, tracking # requests, accounting
    inquiries, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Organizational Relationships

Reports directly to the Sales Operations Manager.


  • Minimum two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must possess proficient written and verbal communication skills, including accurate grammar and business correspondence knowledge
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective channels of communications with
    managers, co-workers, affiliates, vendors and all other business contacts
  • Must be organized, creative, independent and self-motivated, enthusiastic,
    dependable, detail-oriented, flexible in scheduling and prioritization and driven by
  • Must be able to adjust tasks and focus with poise, and in accordance with
    changing deadlines and priorities
  • Thorough knowledge of clerical and administrative practices and skilled in
    customer service
  • Must present a near, professional appearance
  • A good sense of humor and belief in working as a cohesive team

Physical Demands

The job is performed indoors in a traditional office setting. Activities include extended periods of sitting and extensive work at a computer. This job may include some lifting up- to 50lbs. and other physical labor of moving hardware/equipment.

Computer Skills

  • Proficient with MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • CRM software experience
  • ERP experience preferred
