SVT leveraged our expertise in the Casino environment to ensure the design and implementation of a solution that would deliver all functional requirements with efficient operation in the casino environment.
The IP distribution system allows any signal source (customized content, satellite/Cable TV feeds, live broadcast of entertainment or other special events) from the head end to play on any display in the casino including a 3 x 3 video wall. The video wall is capable of showing one large image or 9 individual images as well as numerous other configurations.
The audio system consists of 480 JBL speakers with 31 zones providing premium sound. The speakers are equipped with ambient noise sensing microphones that automatically adjust the volume - eliminating the need for manual adjustment by staff.
The audio and video systems are controlled by Crestron with iPad touch screens throughout the facility.
"We were able to suggest some critical changes in the design." said Mike Kupfer, Director of National Accounts. "this was to make sure that the end result would exceed customer expectations."

The Rivers Casino is Pittsburgh's premier gaming destination. With over 120,000 square feet of gaming floor, SVT and ALTEL provided all of the facilities audio and video system. The original facility featured three bars and lounges each having its own unique audio and video experience.
This state of the art project included 130 - 40" NEC LCD displays mounted on columns throughout the casino. A comprehensive Symon digital signage system was incorporated to give the casino control in creating and displaying marketing messages on any of the displays. Also included in this project is the interactive Symon wayfinding system that is capable of locating and describing any featured location in the casino via a simple touch-screen application.
The audio system, engineered and configured by SVT's strategic partner, Altel Systems, Inc., consists of 600 ceiling mounted speakers throughout the facility to facilitate a rich blended audio level in all areas of the gaming floor and the back of the house. Furthermore, an auto gain control system was used to monitor the ambient sound levels of the casino and adjust the output volume accordingly.
The entire system is controlled by a Crestron system located in AV central, with each of the bars having separate controls for individual applications. A Z-Band RF distribution system was designed into the project to provide audio and video distribution to all points of the casino.
